How to resolve Visual Studio Code 2 — PHP Language server parsing error on load.

I recently switched from PHP Storm to Visual Studio after a friend convinced me that if offered the same value at little or close no nothing value or cost. Everything was going well until a few days ago after I ran an update.

I wanted to make updates to a quick WordPress plugin and upon opening Visual Studio I was presented with the following error:

DEBUG Checking PHPLS_ALLOW_XDEBUG

The Solution (temporary)

Now everything is back to normal — almost. My Mac fans are not running like crazy and I was able to wrap up the plugin updates.

Code, music, craft beer and traveling to remote areas are the only real languages I speak.
