Very simple life lessons I’ve learned

A simple dump of life lessons I’ve picked up through my lifetime (the list will keep growing for as long as I’m alive and kickin’):
- Life is for living.
- Be punctual.
- You should indeed start — the rest will fall into place when it does.
- One must/should love whole-heartedly.
- Never stop learning (books or practicing your craft).
- Try to do your best at all times.
- Time spent with family is time well invested.
- Truthfulness is the real mark of integrity.
- “Truth has no special time of its own. Its hour is now — always.” — Albert Schweitzer
- Forgiveness is essential.
- Give credit where credit is due.
- Say “thank you”.
- Accept that someday you will die.
- One should never force love because love only gives hope when it’s returned and equally so.
- Set aside time to think, dream and reflect.
- In the words of my late grandmother: “You are not a tree. You don’t have roots. Travel and move to places that present better opportunities for you to grow.”
- Make love with passion.
- Be enthusiastic.
- Take risks.
- Think outside the box — always.
